The University of Toronto , in Canada, is accepting applications for the Lester B. Pearson scholarship program for international students. The subsidies are comprehensive, cover 100% of monthly fees and include financial assistance for housing.
According to the university’s website, Lester B. Pearson scholarships seek to “recognize students who demonstrate exceptional academic records, creativity and are seen as leaders in their schools.” One of the main selection criteria for scholarship recipients takes into account the candidate’s performance in the school and community of origin and which has generated a positive impact.

How to Apply
To compete, you must request a recommendation from your high school and register in the selection process, the application, at the University of Toronto. After applying, the applicant receives a personalized link to complete the application form for the Lester B. Pearson Scholarship. To register, access this link .
International students who are in their final year of high school or who have not graduated before June 2023 can apply. The opportunities are for the academic year that begins in September 2024.
The deadlines to compete are:
- School nomination deadline: November 30, 2023
- Deadline for student registration on OUAC (the university’s selection process platform): December 15, 2023 (the university website recommends that you register through OUAC before November 7, 2023 , “as places in programs fill up sell out quickly and popular programs may close early”);
- Scholarship application deadline: January 15, 2024 .
