Santander offers scholarships for a English course in the USA with everything paid!

Santander and the University of Pennsylvania are offering 90 full scholarships for young people aged 18 to 30 who want to learn English in the United States . The three-week course runs from July 8 to 28, 2024. To participate, you must have a minimum level of low-intermediate English (normally equivalent to B1). The courses are only intended for students at level B1 to C1. Sign up by March 13th !

What scholarships to study English in the USA offer

  • Round-trip flights
  • Accommodation in a room in a university residence for the entire duration of the scholarship
  • 20 hours of classes per week (from low-intermediate to advanced level)
  • Health insurance
  • Basic meal plan in the university cafeteria
  • Upon finishing the course, you’ll receive a certificate of participation.
  • Sociocultural activities
  • Lectures by guest faculty from other Penn departments

Each student must also take two elective courses. Possible subjects are:

  • Communication and social media (pre-intermediate level)
  • Innovation and technology (intermediate and advanced levels)
  • Leadership and team building (all levels)
  • Positive psychology and resilience (intermediate and advanced levels)
  • Professional Business Writing (Advanced Level)
  • Strategic planning and persuasive communication (advanced level)
  • Sustainability (intermediate and advanced levels)

To register, you must fill out the application form on the Santander portaluntil 3/13. On 3/14, a skills test will be carried out . The 400 best candidates will be selected for phase 2, which consists of filling out forms, sending documents and sending a motivation letter.

To travel, those selected for the course must have a passport valid until January 2025 and an entry visa. The processing of visas and/or passports is the responsibility of the scholarship holders.
