Ecole Polytechnique Federal de Lausanne (EPFL) offers Masters scholarships in Switzerland through the EPFL Excellence Scholarships program. The university is one of the best in the world and in Switzerland according to QS rankingsand Times Higher Education. Applications are open until December 15th.
Fellows will receive CHF 10,000 per semester for up to four semesters. This amount can be used by the student to cover expenses related to university tuition and their cost of living in Switzerland, but the university notes that, by itself, it is not enough to include all these expenses. Selected students will also be given preference to obtain a place in university accommodation.
In addition, students admitted to the EPFL can also take a three-week intensive French course. Although master’s degrees at the university are taught in English, the institution believes that learning French “will make your life in Lausanne a lot easier”.
