The University of Montreal (UdeM) offers scholarships in Canada for undergraduate, master’s and doctoral studies. The amount of the scholarships varies depending on the course and your ranking in the selection process. All international candidates who apply are considered and, if accepted, will receive a scholarship offer.

Masters and PhD Scholarships at the University of Alberta
The Graduate Entrance Scholarship is an annual award from the University of Alberta that funds newly admitted students in master’s and doctoral programs and also includes international students.
The scholarship is worth $17,500 for a master’s degree and $21,000 for a doctorate, and also includes an additional $10,000 to help cover tuition fees.

Vanier Program offers scholarships for PhDs in Canada
Vanier is a Canadian government program that aims to attract qualified students to the country’s universities. Thus, the program annually selects more than 100 Canadian and foreign researchers who are awarded full doctoral scholarships.
The grant amounts to 50 thousand Canadian dollars per year for three years. The scholarships are distributed across three research areas: health, engineering and humanities.
This year, applications close on November 1st. To apply, candidates must have academic excellence, research potential and a leadership profile.
Banting: program offers scholarships for postdoctoral students in Canada
The Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship is a government grant that offers at least 70 postdoctoral fellowships in Canada each year. Its goal is to attract and retain high-level academic talent and develop successful researchers.
The scholarship in Canada focuses on three key research areas: health, natural sciences and engineering, and social sciences and humanities. Selected applicants receive $70,000 per year for a duration of two years.
The application must be made in collaboration with the host institution where the candidate will study. After this contact, the candidate must register for Canadian Common CV and ResearchNet accounts, create a CV (academic CV) and submit references and all requested documentation.
Summer job in Canada
In addition to scholarships for studying, there are also scholarships for internships in Canada! The Mitacs Globalink Research Internship is a Canadian government program that offers full scholarships for university students to undertake research internships at Canadian universities.
To apply for the summer job, you must be at least 18 years old and enrolled in an undergraduate course at one of the participating universities. The program covers airfare, health insurance, accommodation and meals.
To apply, you must submit your resume, letter of recommendation and academic transcript. Applications are generally accepted until September.
