The Government of Australia is offering 5 scholarships to train researchers at Flinders University, Australia. The program lasts up to three years and is aimed at master’s or doctoral students who intend to pursue an academic career.
The total value of the scholarships is $33,000 per year, approximately R$106,800. For students who need extra financial support for accommodation in the country, it is possible to request an additional amount of up to $1,485. All fellows will receive a Research Training Program (RTP), or research training program.
Flinders University is located in the state of Adelaide in South Australia. With a focus and tradition on developing researchers, prominent research areas include biomedical and clinical sciences, culture, politics and society, health and human behavior, molecular science and technology, defense, engineering, water and the environment.

Citizens from outside Australia or New Zealand who wish to start a full-time tertiary degree program at Flinders University are eligible for the program. How to apply to Flinders University
To apply for scholarships, you must submit the following documents:
- Proof of up to 5 academic publications, which must be referenced in the Curriculum Vitae. Preference will be given to texts in English, however, it is possible to send publications in other languages
- Resume
- Academic transcripts in English
- Research proposal
- Academic references
Application must be made through the Flinders University records platform. After registering on the platform, the candidate will receive a student identification number that must be kept. Then, log in to the platform and complete the registration for the grants.
